I had a prenatal appointment on Monday the 30th that I will blog about later (along with some new pics!) but I just had to say thank the powers that be that my morning sickness has finally subsided!!! I'm so thankful!
yeah I do have kaiser...I told the tech that when I was pregnant with R, I didn't get my first ultrasound till 10 weeks. She said that they want to make sure everything is ok with the embryo before they do bloodwork so that they dont get their patients hopes up and have it be more traumatic for them. How come your doc doesn't like them being done so early?
theresa I know! It's so exciting! I have an ultrasound scheduled in September and hopefully we'll find out then.

Marina She mentioned that because most miscarriages occur between 6 and 10 weeks that a lot of patients get their hopes up when they see the embryo. The ultrasound makes it more "real" and makes them feel connected that early. It makes sense.
