Get ready for my first pregnancy related rant.
My mom had a little get together for her birthday yesterday and we had a few friends and family over to celebrate. Everyone commented on my belly and asked if I knew what gender the baby is. Then some random lady, who I don't even know and have never met in my life, asked "Are you sure?!" after I told her I was almost 4 months along. I believe her exact words were "Are you sure?! 4 months? I looked like YOU when I was SIX months!!! You cannot be that early!"
Well, uh, yes ma'am. I must be wrong. My Doctor must be wrong as well. You're the professional and I must at least be 6 months pregnant.
*rolls eyes*

I hate people like that. I wonder if they even think of how rude they are. Just because you don't look like what they did when they were pregnant doesnt mean anything. I just remember that every woman's body grows differently when pregnant.
I get the opposite comment so for awhile there I was worrying if I was gaining enough weight but I figured, if my doctor isn't saying anything to me then it should be fine. Has anybody tried to touch your belly yet?

marina I know right?! Every pregnancy is different. With my daughter, I didn't start to show until 6-7 months.
